What's going on that all the lemons are getting deleted?
Oh. A deviant reporting them.
That's depressing to see all the emotions go.
I just want to spread a word that it's no good to report someone's hard work. I'm not trying to bad mouth anyone, but - I mean, maybe it's time to move on with your life instead of reporting deviations for pornographic content.
People actually put their thoughts into their work, and they're full of feelings from deep down.
And I'm sure people don't need pressure on their work that they did out of fun, requests or even commissions.
So yeah. And guys, don't quit because of this.
This is crazy business that we need to deal with; not to run away from.

My decision on the lemons being removed:After successfully raging for most of the day, breaking many pencils in half, and ranting/screaming to a considerable amount of people about the wealth of lemons being reported and deleted, I have come to this conclusion:
We can't let this get to us.
It's either the work of someone incredibly jealous of the success of lemons, a complete prude, an absolutely horrendous troll, or dA just going through and purging what they see fit. I'm sure that if it's the first three of those options, they are seeing our reactions and having an absolute blast about how badly they have affected us.
My earlier journal was immature and I should have handled the discovery of so many of my pieces being deleted much better. However, I am upset as hell, because I put heartfelt emotions in my work--lemons or not. To me...fanfiction and reader inserts are where I can be in a fantasy world to escape the pains of reality. I can pretend I know what it's like to be in love. I can pretend that the ones I'm "in love"

An Investigation: All of you are suspects.You all remember that contest I held back in July? And that I released the contest results? Yes, I held a lemon contest and posted the results. All of the winning entries in the contest was deleted. It wasn't just deleted, it was reported. Yes, reported. Almost all of the entries was reported by someone. *GydroZMaa noticed the suspicion. I need to know something...Like many of the journals have stated, there has been a domino effect of lemons being taken down. The furthest I remember was when it started with the entries of ~xCreativePoppet's shower lemon contest. At first it was only the winners and honorable mentions that were reported. Soon, after posting journals pointing out that there was someone who might have been a sore loser, more lemons started to get reported.
There's been some suspicions as to whether or not ~ev0net was the one behind it, but it's not. Don't bash the person for the lemons. That user is reporting those who post things without permission such as preview pictures or motivational posters. As that person specified in addition to dA's own policies, crediting does not mean getting permission. Lots of people don't even credit the artist so I can understand where that person is coming from. That user even said he/she doesn't report lemons.
I don't know who the person is, but I still feel that it has a strong connection

I think I just cracked the case.Well, as most of us already know, lemons are being deleted left and right.
I think I just found out why.
"A literary work may not detail graphic or explicit sexual intercourse. This includes descriptions of sexual penetration, oral to genital contact, genital to anal contact, oral to anal contact and may also include certain types of genital to genital contact and oral to breast contact.
This prohibition extends to descriptions of bodily fluids associated with sexual acts such as semen and vaginal lubricants."
I hate to say, but most lemons violate that particular policy...
And just to clarify, I was definitely not the one reporting the lemons. I enjoy them just as much as the next Hetalian.
I am merely stating the reason why I think they were taken down.

Recently someone has been reporting my stories for being Pronograpic Lit. Why now?

It's not just me eather. Lemon Contest winners also had their stories deleted.

Why have a Sexual Content Warning option if they just remove it?

DA can have PHOTOS of naked women with out the Sexual Content Waring on them and they get called Art and not porn?!

I mean, really. A lot of writers, I'm sure, would be willing to remove the images if it means saving their fanfictions from being reported and taken down...
Seems kind of lazy to just skip that option and go straight to reporting...

Here what I think....
1) people should not give these people attention because it fuels them
2) everyone should repost them if possible of course and back em up by saving them (they can't stop everyone)
3) not quit dA! People are doing that and it makes me sad!
4) contact dA staff with this many people upset they can't ignore it
5) continue writing as they wish with the appropriate warning and copy rights
I have no problem with people putting up lemons. I read some that are well written and cover all their bases. I want to get this out to any and everyone.

No it's not that guy. He said on his profile he doesn't care what people write about as long as it's their original work. What he seems to be doing is reporting deviations with screenshots/copy and pasted pictures from the internet as if they were their own deviations; he might have reported the ones with preview pictures. But his biggest speil is copyright issues, not "pornographic literature".

So some kind of misunderstanding has happened. It was someone else and I think someone did it for personal reasons or was involved in that contest in some way.
